1690s book with filigree silver binding - National Library of Sweden

This binding is an exquisite example of Danish filigree technique
from the 1690s.It belongs to the National Library’s Huseby
Collection and was once owned by Karren Mogensdotter Skoug.
Her name and the year 1692 are engraved on the inside of the clasps. -(x)

From 3/2/14 ‘Snowstorm’

You guessed it! More of the same! Spaceships and planets and invisible things that can only be conceptualized in your mind’s eye because I was remiss in my documentation. 

Another feature from the same window display as the rabbit.

Some characters from a series I did for a window display. Each image is a cutout (thus the warm/cool whites), about 14” across. In display they are suspended flying among the stars (fairy lights and swathes of fabric). Pictures of that to come.

It was a real tossup whether or not to add antlers. Even now I’m not sure if I made the right choice #jackalopesforever
